First Grade Tree Project

All of the first grade students have had the opportunity this year to observe a pecan tree on our playground.  We talked about the things that we needed to notice as good observers and scientists as we drew pictures, recorded the temperature at the time of our observations and did rubbings of the bark.  A small group then met to research "facts" about pecan trees which we then made into the voicethread that follows this post.  After looking at the voicethread click on the next link to do activities about nature and trees.
